ideal for large hands

They definitely add thickness to the pathetic 7/8 bars. I guess my hands are bigger and I prefer a thicker grip on my bikes. it's definitely more than progrip 699 which i replaced. I bought some puppies to walk with but now they will ride a different bike.

  • Elegant design

Grips for bicycles with throttle grip.

Don't listen to bad reviews about wrong size etc. It's the buyer's fault for not reading and seeing that these cranks are made specifically for throttle body bikes. However, these grips fit and feel great. I replaced my original Surron grips with these and couldn't be happier. Much thicker than the original and comfortable. It should be noted that they tend to be a bit firmer, which I prefer.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Perfect grips for Ruckus

Ruckus completely redesigned. Quality handles and great looks. I wouldn't call it RED, it's more of a maroon, but I prefer maroon as it's a bit more classy. If you have a red seat, it does not match your pitch. Installation was easy. Note the inner holes as one is larger for the throttle and the smaller for the left hand grip. Cut off the old ones and put on the new ones. I've heard some people use hairspray to apply it, but I didn't need to. Slid straight and hard. High quality handles.

Bought to replace a 2004 Honda 919

They were purchased for a 2004 Honda 919 with 7/8" handlebars. These grips are a slightly larger diameter than the other grips they replaced which makes it less cumbersome almost felt like I had 1" bars instead of 7/8" bars. It annoyed me at first, but I actually like it now. This made my grip around the wheel a little easier since I could use my hand doesn't have to grip as hard to get a good grip.I changed grips at the same time as the tires so I used Windex lube and they slipped right away.

Pros
  • Quality Construction
Cons
  • Almost OK

Great for MT 07 in controls

I'm surprised how much I like them considering how cheap they are. They match my stock MT 07 handlebars perfectly. The clutch side slid in easily and stayed in place with a latch. The choke side was pretty tight and I had to remove the choke tube so I could put more effort into installing it, but it worked fine and didn't require any glue on the choke side. All I had to do was cut holes in the ends to fit the bar ends. They have a nice grip and are noticeably thicker than the original, which…

Bought two pairs for BMW with heated grips

My BMW R1150R had heated grips from the factory and the rubber fell apart leaving black marks on my hands. BMW claims you need to replace the entire heated grip assembly (very expensive), but a quick search of the forums showed me the opposite. I was able to very carefully cut the old grip off with a razor blade, scrape off the residue with carb cleaner, and then reattach it. The heated grip makes it thicker than usual so you have to buy two pairs and use the larger grip on the throttle side on

  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Reliability

Shorter than expected

These grips are exactly the style I wanted. The only issue I found was that they are an inch shorter than I would like and they are very tight. I was expecting them to be the same length as on the bike if the diameters are the same, but they are slightly shorter. It doesn't bother me too much, just something to keep in mind. Getting her on the bike was a hassle. I felt it was a good decision to use rubbing alcohol and all my determination. Tried soapy water too but that made it hard to resist…
