Great solid backpack.

Just like other surviveware products, this backpack didn't disappoint, its very well though out, very well built, very solid, water resistant and that makes it very dependable. I do have to say depending on your size it can be somewhat heavy at 27 pounds, but the padding on the straps and back makes it very comfortable. The backpack is packed, it comes with almost everything you can possibly need for an emergency, from food, water, fire making to shelter and other things, for when hiking, or…

Pros
  • Very happy with my purchase just hope there never comes a need for it
Cons
  • Not ideal for long-term survival situations

Great first aid and survival kits!

This 72 hour survival backpack for 2 people is AWESOME! Very well thought out and put together! Plus it’s got the grid system so you can add any additional items to fit your specific needs! Janco & Amanda are awesome! They send out little extras with their kits and stand behind their products 100%! If your looking for first aid and survival kits look up Surviveware! I recommend them 100% 2 👍🏻👍🏻 Up!

Pros
  • Great product. Has everything we need!
Cons
  • Limited space for personal items

Great quality and very well put together.

i loved this pack! i had purchased their safety kits which also are great so i decided to try this pack. After the scare of the pandemic, and even CA fires, i really became aware that in the case of an emergency, you need some sort of a immediate plan. This bag is a great start. The pack is very well put together and thought out. Im even planning on taking this on my future overlanding and/or camping trips.

Pros
  • Great supply kit
Cons
  • Limited medical supplies provided

THE BEST DESIGNED SURVIVAL KIT AROUND

When I first saw this, what made me pick the Responder over other options was the awesome backpack. But now that it’s arrived - I am blown away by the quality, content and design of this kit! It literally has everything - and is SO WELL DESIGNED. The gridnet system is super useful for organizing, and every item is really high quality down to the free gift - a nifty multi-tool I’ve slipped into my wallet. The backpack which I would use everyday, is super comfortable because the straps are padded

Piece of mind - Grab and go

This is a nice collection of items you might need in an emergency. I like the idea of having something ready to just grab and go when stuff hits the fan. I will probably add a few things I've been collecting otherwise to this bag. Nice that there is still some room to customize it to your own needs. I've purchased some of the other first-aid items from Surviveware and the quality is always very high. That same attention to detail applies to this case as well. Overall, I'm very happy with this.

Pros
  • Very complete survival backpack. Well constructed and very well designed.
Cons
  • Heavy and bulky compared to other backpack options

Pretty good bag for my opinion

This backpack is pretty good overall. Personally, I would rather see less of the water packets and a way to collect water such as a sawyer squeeze with storage bags. The packets of water add considerable weight to the bag and take up a decent amount of space. There is a lifestraw filter, which is nice, but I would like to be able to collect my own water if needed. I would also like to see more food, such as freeze dried food. That wouldn't add much weight, but would help the pack to last…

  • Sports & Outdoors
Cons

Well thought out and organized

The other reviews were 100% correct: these backpacks are very well thought out and organized -- not everything piled on top of each other (that's a big deal and a big problem with other packs). Heavy, yes, but there's no getting around that unless you don't think you'll need water. I don't regret this investment at all.I added a few things.a USB solar charger, GPRS radios, batteries, maps, a few more tools, and some odds 'n' ends I can't even remember right now. But for the most part these…

Excellent Bug Out Bag for my Parents

I purchased this product directly from the Surviveware website, and was very pleased with the product. I purchased it for my older parents, just in case they needed to leave their house quickly. Having purchased Surviveware first aid kits for myself, I knew the quality and trusted that I would get the same in the backpack. The quality was excellent and well done!

Pros
  • ‎27 Pounds
Cons
  • No electricity or electronic devices provided

These packs are a great prep. I intended to take items from mine and add to my hiking pack for emergency preparedness while on some of my more extreme hikes. Great addition.

Pros
  • we purchased these backpacks on the recommendation from other offices in case of an emergency.
Cons
  • one of the items (whistle) was broken and leaking the compass water.

Surviveware is an incredible company that offers a product that is second-to-none. The Responder backpack gives two people a wide arrangement of tools and necessities to use in a pinch when the unexpected happens. I've been so impressed with this backpack that I've purchased the large first aid kit to keep in my car in case life happens and I have the chance to render aid to someone.Thank you Surviveware for consistently delivering a world class customer experience and pairing it with an…

Not all items described were in the backpack

Pack is good but not great. Descriptions include waterproof matches but none in the pack. Pack is ok but could have paper like tissues toilet paper towels. you will need to add items to be better equipped for an emergency.

Pros
  • First Aid Kits
Cons
  • No weapons provided for self-defense

Great.but HEAVY! on my review.

HEAVY! If you have back issues ir are not VERY physically fit and strong, don't plan on hauling this ant further than to your vehicle. I love it's organization, and will buy suitcase wheels for it or have a grown son trade packs. Highly recommend this product . IF you can hike with a TON of weight on your back!
