Ride the R1200GS and use only soft luggage for off-road riding. The bag is suitable for everything you need for a weekend hike. Comfortable design, slightly lighter weight and Molle loops for conveniently attaching water bottles. This replaced 2 other bags I used to attach to the back of my bike. With this bag and a pair of 15 liter tool/fluid holster bags, there's plenty of room for a long, weighted trip.

I love this bag! I use my Suzuki V-strom 1000 on the back seat and it fits perfectly. I can easily fit everything I need for a long weekend hike. Much cheaper than any other luggage option and the quality is excellent. I haven't been in heavy rain with it, but I've been riding off-road. Doesn't move and you don't feel its weight at all. The only negative thing I can say is that it is very big. I would only go for a big adventure bike. Consider the size of a hockey bag.

I've had one for over a year, seems to have been used 4 times. It's been a decent ride every time, although the construction is great. Space wise it holds about the same as a giant loop bag, especially when using pods. I have a number of luggage organizers and that makes the packaging of this item amazing. Bag big enough for all my travel gear, tent, sleeping pad, sleeping bag, sandals, spare clothes, crockery and groceries. I have an Africa Twin with grab handles so the gap at the bottom of the bag doesn't go far enough to prevent it from being placed squarely in the back seat.
