Quality product at an affordable price

Works as it should. The cameras were easy to set up and add a mobile app to your phone and iPad. Highly recommended. This is my second camera system from Swann. I just upgraded for thermal capabilities. I will continue to use the Swann brand.

SWANN VIDEO LOSS

I just installed a SWANN video surveillance system in my home and the first thing that popped up on the screen was video loss. I am using a brand new LG monitor, new backup battery and have tried changing cameras and cables but the video loss message is still there. I think this product still has issues and SWANNE should fix them for good. This is the second surveillance system I have purchased from SWANNE. The first one worked fine, but after a few months the same "Video Lost" message appeared

Real detection is not 100% perfect, no guarantee if real camera detection is bad!

I bought this product for the real detection function. I have a camera in front of my carport due to recent car vandalism in my area, well true detection is supposed to work up to 30ft it only works up to 12ft so someone can come to my car and do it , what he wants and I keep the camera as close as possible to where I can still get the front door, the technical helpdesk told me to change the cameras, see if it makes a difference. I took one of my other cameras and replaced one that only workedโ€ฆ

I bought this product for the real detection function, I have a camera pointing towards my carport due to recent car vandalism in my area, well real detection should work up to 30ft so it only works up to 12ft Someone can come to my car and do whatever they want and I keep the camera as close as possible where I still get tech support at the front door telling me to switch cameras to see if it is important. I took one of my other cameras and replaced one that only worked up to 12ft while itโ€ฆ

Overall good but not up to today's expectations

The security system is a very good system. The quality of the camera is very good, of course if you want the best picture you have to invest in the 4K version, but for personal use this is more than enough. I recommend planning your setup ahead of time as being a wired system it can be a bit difficult to provide a clean route from the camera to the DVR. Now for the bad, why am I giving 3 stars. The UI to connect to the camera system through the application is almost impossible to get workingโ€ฆ

Save money and get something different!

Particularly unpopular. I bought this to replace a 10 year old system that died on mine and thought I was getting a decent deal for the price. That's for a reason, because I couldn't find anything good about it that I like. I first hooked up a DVR and camera for testing purposes and connected them to my 36 inch 1080p monitor that I used on my old system. The text wasn't legible so I just clicked a few buttons until I saw a blurry square that looked like dimensions and I clicked on it and itโ€ฆ
