Not the softest cotton even after washing but very nice colors. The material doesn't wrinkle well - even sitting on it creates severe creases. The back and pillowcases are purple rather than blue, so the pillowcases don't really match the main page - too bad I didn't get them at all. I kept this set because the colors go well with my light/medium wood furniture, but it really isn't worth the price.

The floral pattern is beautiful and the material feels like regular cotton (not super soft, but not harsh either). I'm not a fan of zippers or corner ties. Both appear weak, as if they will eventually break. The duvet fits well over the duvet cover and the king size pillowcases fit my king size pillows very well (they look great, just a problem putting them on). In general I am satisfied. I didn't wash this before placing it on the duvet of my full size bed to see the big picture. I am happy. Color and size correspond to the description. The pattern on the accent covers is very rich, but it goes well with the overall beige design. The fabric feels like a polished cotton blend straight out of the box and still needs to be plush after use or washing.
