Sweese 163 499 Porcelain Dessert Plates Review

I've been a big fan of Swedish tableware for years. I needed a plate that wasn't too big or too small and I saw them at Revain. I received them the other day, they are large and very beautiful. I like that they are porcelain, very strong and resistant to chipping.

The marble-like plates are very beautiful. I needed sturdy panels for the fridge, freezer and oven. I cook a lot in advance so I needed good plates for vacuum freezing lunches and dinners. I am very happy with the plates. The order arrived on time as expected and was well packaged without incident.

I have bought sets of these in dinner plates, salad plates and bowls. The plates were terrible from the start. I had to replace the kit as there were defects. Then the replacements started chipping, even though they should be chip resistant. I had to throw away three. Customer service for Sweese then just kept me going and finally told me the manager would call back. It never happened.
