This is my first holder of this type so I don't have many recommendations but it does what it's supposed to do. Holds tools firmly and is easy to adjust. The set screws are good and don't seem to have some of the quality issues I've seen on other devices. The wedge lock is good and reliable. The only problem I have is probably due to ignorance, but certain tool positions seem to put the lever in a very awkward position - sometimes due to work. The product worked on a Grizzly G0769 Turn-Mill combination with minor modifications that can be supplemented with a G0769 Turn-Mill machine. Minor changes have been made to the baseplate that comes with the tool rack pack. The hole is enlarged by 10 mm to 0.715 and the sheet thickness is reduced to 0.245. Everything else in the kit was turnkey. Don't expect tight tolerances, but if you have a Grizzly G0769 you know all, it serves that purpose better than a factory tool holder. I shoot from a…

Bought for a 9x20 universal Chinese lathe. Identical to the commercially available OXA tool holder, but comes with a loose knurling tool and only a #1 holder. The quality is as you would expect with a little bump in the mechanism but a big improvement over the standard Shim tool rack. One of the adjustment knurled nuts on one of the brackets has been knocked off center and is so wobbly that it cannot be used. We are currently negotiating a replacement.
