Made for thick carbon wheels.

Pads slightly thinner for thicker wheels. The pads that came with my 404 and 808 kept the wheels from spinning. I needed some grinding to get it working. Not a good result. Read the description carefully and you will see that it is mentioned. These pads hold up well and just do what they're supposed to. They wear out faster.

The best I've ever used!

I've been riding carbon wheels since I've been a cyclist and these are the best pads for mechanical brakes! I tried using the breads that came with my wheels as well as the Shiminano pads and managed both by a large margin. I really like the stopping power of these cliffs and I feel like I can stop in the blink of an eye. I live in a hilly area so my descents are quite steep and long. I can get about 1700-2000 miles on these pads before changing them. They are as good as I expected them to be.

Much better than the stock carbon brake pads

As the name suggests. These pads are really good. I have several sets of Yoeleo carbon wheels and these pads are much better than the stock pads. The compound is much softer than the stock pads and offers much better stopping power with more grip. Be careful when using it for the first time and don't step on the brakes as they are really juddering. You must learn to dilute these pads. I almost always use both brakes when stopping and it gets you to a stop pretty quickly. I use these pads on…

Excellent carbon brake pads

These are excellent carbon brake pads! I have Bontrager wheels and Bontrager recommends their branded version of these pads, but I have confirmed with Trek that they are identical just without the Bontrager branding. My first set wore unevenly, but that's 100% my fault for not installing them properly. I had my LBS install this second set and they wear great. I have over a year from the first set. probably over 4000 outdoor miles on my bike so definitely can't complain about durability. The…

I don't usually write negative reviews but this product is great in a negative way. I recently bought a set of unused Bontrager Aeolus XXX 4 carbon clincher rims from a friend and needed brake pads for these rims. These pads were recommended by Trek so I bought them despite the terrible reviews of the terrible durability of these pads. I thought these negative reviews were just an anomaly. But after only 2 rides totaling 50 miles with some hilly descents the pads are noticeably worn by about a…
