Switchover is a free service that allows you to manage your own email and web hosting services.

I have used switchover before and found it extremely useful when managing my website and email systems. It works really well and has helped me save money by reducing the amount of servers I am running. I would recommend it to anyone looking to manage their email system and website efficiently. Its great because you dont want to get involved with setting everything up yourself, so you just click one button then its done! And you only pay once rather than monthly which makes it cheaper over time.

Pros
  • You dont need any IT knowledge to manage your own site
  • Its very easy to setup
  • They give 30 days free support after signing up and they even give you credits which can be used to upgrade or buy more storage space etc.
Cons
  • Its not free anymore
  • If you run out of credits then you cant signup until they release new ones.
  • There are times where you might have problems accessing your account as they seem to go down quite often.

I use SwitchOver Hosting because they are reliable, easy to use and offer excellent support.

We've worked with them on several occasions now, mainly around database administration, reporting and other technical issues. They're always available, extremely responsive, very efficient and have solved some problems we couldn't have solved ourselves! Highly recommended - always on hand to help out when required, plus they don't charge a lot either! I am currently using switch over as my main hosting provider, which means there's no more time spent configuring/fixing servers etc. Its all done

  • Its simple to setup and easy to manage (just pick your favourite language)
  • Good documentation
  • Has everything you would expect from a host, plus much more
Cons
  • No SSH access - you have to login via web console
  • Limited number of apps/services included with their plan
  • Their customer support could be better

SwitchOver is an awesome SaaS solution for teams. It has a user friendly interface, an intuitive search function and a great feature called "Flags" which allows users to easily switch functions on or off without having to close the application. My favorite feature is the document management tool called "Switches".   • The interface is very easy to navigate and use.
  • Switchover provides great documentation for beginners as well as experts.
  • SwitchOver has a great document versioning system which makes managing files easier.
Cons
  • Not as robust as other cloud-based solutions
  • It does not provide a GUI option to view data on-premise.
  • Pricing model is expensive (1 TB+).
