Well built and constructed

It worked great on my wife's flat bottom computer. This didn't work on my larger, heavier computer with a slide-out screen at the bottom and four legs. I would have to remove the legs and then it would sit on a retractable screen. It's great for my wife's computer - it stands on the floor and doesn't get in the way, it's easy to move around, and it's very strong and durable.

Its good computer cases

I have two LENOVO Thinkcentre Towers on this office floor. I needed this as it is a rule to keep things off the hospital floor. Wheellocks are useless as they just slide on the polished floor. The towers are pretty tight. I added a strip of double sided tape between the two towers at the top to hold them together and tight. I would recommend this over the X style which swings open.

Great for all desktop sizes

I've been using this for a long time, my fairly heavy full tower case hasn't had any structural strength issues throughout its use. The material is just cheap plastic, but there's one positive thing - soft pads around the edges to protect the case from scratches and dents, which is nice, especially when you turn it over every now and then. It is very easy to assemble in minutes. If he can hold a big full rook, he's good for any size. I recommend this to anyone looking to spruce up their…

Shop Something Else: Computer Cases

Bought about 2 years ago for mid tower cases. I've never used it to move the tower more than a foot or so across a tiled floor (wanted to make cleaning around and under the tower easier). After 6 months one of the wheel arches crumbled and fell apart; I glued it together - a few months later another wheel arch collapsed and I glued it back together as well. In less than a year all 4 corners and wheel wells were crumbling and/or collapsing to the point where this stand was rendered unusable…

Easy to assemble and easy to set up, but flimsy.

First of all, a word of caution: this site is a mix of reviews of different models. I'm looking at the Syba Plastic Adjustable Width ATX Chassis 4 Wheel CPU Stand (SY-ACC65010). It seems like a decent product, easy to assemble and easy to set up. Its length is just right to fit between the built in feet on my suitcase, which I think is intended. A longer stand might feel more secure, but I have to remove the legs from the case. The case is a little unstable on a stand, although I suspect this…

Simple and convenient for computer cases

I wanted my case (define R5 fractal design) to rise off the floor and be mobile so I could easily pull it out to inspect the back. It's not a lightweight system, so it tends to stick to the ground and not move. This mobile stand is made of hard plastic and consists of two symmetrical parts that snap together. I would like it to be metal, but the steel version has a maximum width of 8 inches and my case is 9-1/8 inches wide. The bolts went in with no problems. Then I fitted it to the top of my…

SMART DESIGN

Item arrived quickly and in good condition. Although no instructions were included, it was easy to assemble and the adjustability makes it "universal". It's strong and more stable than "X" type stands and has the nice feature that 2 wheels can lock. By mounting them on opposite corners front and back, you can attach the stand, lock the wheels and it will stay in place. Do you have to sweep? Unlock the wheels, move the stand, sweep and return to your seat. Thoughtful design.

  • Nice item
Cons
  • Almost everything is there

Two wheels broke within a month, only moved twice

While I love the ease of assembly and use, both of my rear wheels broke off after a month. And I mean the plastic all around them cracked and cracked, not just the wheels. It says it has a 66-pound weight capacity, and while I used it on a big old Dell XPS model, which is relatively heavy, it doesn't weigh around 66 pounds. Maybe 40. Even more disappointing is that once I set it on its stand I only moved the tower twice, and both times it was less than half a foot tall - in fact I only moved it

Not happy, sorry I didn't buy metal frames. Update: Now both are broken.

I bought two of these CPU racks and they arrived yesterday. They are easy to assemble and install, but one of them is already broken. I put one of the processors back in place and it started moving sideways. I caught him before he fell but one of the wheel mounts broke. It's useless now so I covered it with epoxy and maybe after drying it will hold up. I may have gotten an earlier build because the one that broke didn't have locking arms on the reels and the other stand had whole locks. They…
