I purchased this incandescent security light with hopes of increased security for my home. However, I found the light to be rather dim and didn't provide the illumination I needed. On the plus side, it's easy to install. However, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking to beef up their home security. There are better options available in the Tools and Home Improvement category.

With the first setting of 15W, the brightness is really equivalent to a two-sided lightbulb with three clicks. However, I intend to buy them for this lowest setting. I use it as a night light for certain lamps.
