I don't like stupid questions. How do I know the life expectancy if I just received it? Is it the same with energy efficiency? I bought them because regular bulbs are hard to find because of bird watchers.
defective and uncertain. As soon as they arrived, one exploded in my hand, still in the box, with no pressure. Now glass is everywhere in my kitchen. I've never seen a lightbulb in my entire life. Not normal, not sure.
Bought to replace recessed lighting in our kitchen. In less than a week, all six stopped working and had to be replaced. I went to Walmart and got another six pack (different brand) and they seem to be working fine over a week later. Maybe I just got a bad batch!
They were cheap. I got what I paid for - the bulbs barely lasted a few weeks. Considering I have 20ft ceilings where they go, that's not a good deal. I had to replace 3 lightbulbs and they all burned out within a few days. I will replace them with more expensive LED bulbs for a better price and lifespan. I do not recommend these lamps!
All these bulbs lasted less than a month. Used lamps of the same make/model have lasted more than 4 years. I suspected something was wrong or the workmanship was sub-par because most of these new, unpackaged specimens had significant imperfections on the front. So the heavily discounted price of them is technically a lot more expensive if you have to replace them every few weeks; not to mention that the exchange is difficult in a very high ceiling; much more than trying to save money.
I need Sylvania 65w 120v headlight. The ones that have arrived have the correct tension etc but are physically smaller so they don't fit in the fill holes like the last ones I have. The bulbs I replace are about 4-5 inches in diameter and these are about 3 inches tall so they look neat in the light hole and don't hide any wiring etc. I would love to see how they work! The packaging is well done. No other problems. Will send back.
I have bought these bulbs several times. They have had no problems before and each bulb has lasted months and months. I bought them the last two times even though they were terrible. Half the lightbulbs in each box burned out within seconds of being turned on, and a sixth of the lightbulbs committed suicide. The glass detached from the threaded portion and fell to the ground, where it shattered. You then have a risk of fire with broken glass which is very dangerous/difficult to unscrew. I hadβ¦
This is exactly what we were looking for! I couldn't find them in stores because now they only sell LED bulbs which are so bright they are like hospital lights. They give off a soft yellow light that's bright enough for a room but doesn't look like a hospital. They last about 6 months in intensively used rooms. We have them in our kitchen, which is one of the most used rooms in our house. UPDATED EDIT: I am changing the rating because I reordered this item after being so pleased with theβ¦
