Sylvania SilverStar 27 Watt Performance Signal Motorcycle & Powersports Review

I bought them because they last quite a long time. Not a big fan of weird colors (some say egg yolks) yet. When turned on, they emit a pleasingly soft orange color.

Brighter than standard 1156A, looks cool when off. Experience has shown that they last longer than the standard 1156A.

A great alternative to a clear lens chrome lamp. Looks even cooler when the sun shines on it. Extremely bright and very warm orange.

Slightly brighter than natural amber. I don't see the green effect some people are posting. Solves the problem of "yolk". Does the job but not worth the extra money.

Good packaging. The pears are not fully silver plated. Some of the outer parts are bluish, some are still very amber (orange). Fits as advertised, just so I could fit the yellow bulbs into the bracket (the pins are 180 degrees apart).

I've had these bulbs in my BMW for a little over 4 years and they haven't burned out yet. I recently installed a front and rear turn signal kit on my girlfriend's 2011 Hyundai Sonata. They add beautiful eye candy to plain lenses.

This 1156A ST looked very cool. I installed them and no longer had a yellow reflection when the turn signal was not on. But these things were only installed for 2 weeks. and the bulb burned out (see photo). But not only did it stop working, it deformed so much that it actually damaged my headlight assembly! You get what you pay for and you will pay for it and you will have a safer and clearer turn signal. The lamp is not covered with amber, but with another, higher quality material.
