💡 Sylvania 9005 SilverStar Ultra: Premium Halogen Headlight Bulb for Unmatched Performance Review

Someone showed me how bright they are (low beam)! Highly recommended! At first they seem rather boring, but now they are amazing.

I replaced the original Phillips bulbs in my 2014 F150 and they are a little whiter and seem brighter in the low beam. The high beam seems about the same, but there's a definite improvement in the low end.

Purchased December 2015. Ensure you wear gloves during installation as skin oils can affect lamp life. As you might have guessed, I used gloves during installation.

Very bright but legal incandescent bulb. As with brighter lightbulbs, they don't last forever. The low beam on a ZG1000 motorcycle (Kawasaki Concours) lasts about 1-2 years depending on how many kilometers it has ridden. No fancy color or tint, just a bright white light that doesn't seem to bother oncoming motorists.

Ultra is a great upgrade from the regular SilverStar (regular sucks and I hit a deer because of it) Now I can actually see the deer in the side and actually has me in Already saved her from running into a deer walking down the street for the 1 week I've had her.
