Description of Synthesizer Korg Volca Drum

Part No. 670956 This is a percussion synthesizer in which sounds are created using analog modeling based on a DSP processor. Volca Drum is equipped with 14 knobs, 8 setting buttons, 16 touch pads for sequencer control, a small LCD display and a built-in speaker. The synthesizer sound set consists of six two-layer components. The device has a set of 10 ready-made drum kits in the memory of the device, and 16 more are available for saving. For each layer of an individual instrument, it is possible to select one of 5 different oscillators and one of three types of modulator. The effects section has a waveguide resonator that adds various resonances to the sound (ringing strings or drum shell). The synthesizer has a built-in 16 step sequencer with the ability to record in real time. You can set up templates for the sequencer, as well as save sequences of operations and create pattern chains. Other features of Volca Drum include: parameter randomization, pan adjustment, setting accents and priorities for each instrument. The switching capabilities of the device are represented by a headphone output, MIDI input and IN / OUT Sync connectors. The synthesizer can be powered from an external adapter or from batteries (an external adapter is purchased separately).

On this thing, you can not only create drums, but also drones. So it will potentially work for ambient as well. With the new firmware, it allows you to pitch sounds by notes, which is extremely convenient. It's a pity that this is poorly implemented via MIDI. Pros: Great drum synth for the money. There is a cost of about 12 thousand, then take it safely. For jams it is not very convenient, but it shows itself well in the studio, because. rulitsya via MIDI and allows you to create very complex…
