Pay attention to quality. for temperature and humidity

Mine arrived with a loose connection where the metal wire enters the probe. At this point it has been crimped and glued: it looks like the glue is bad. I'm switching to a new one, I hope the next one will be better.

This is Stainless Steel - Temperature and Humidity

I bought this simply because I need stainless steel for my coffee roasting project as much as I need it for food. I also found it more sensitive than the original max6675 thermocouple sensor.

Inexpensive and Accurate

If you need a longer probe this inexpensive K thermocouple works well for me. My readings are within a half degree of accuracy, which is good enough for my needs, and so far it has continued to work.

Disappointed with the accuracy

The main problem is that the reading is constantly 7 ยฐC above the actual temperature. This was quite annoying because I use it to control the temperature of a high-pressure sterilizer. It holds up as described, although the threads are beginning to rust.

Price valid for Test, Measure & Inspect

Do you have a temperature controller? This Type K thermocouple is exactly what the doctor ordered. The price is right. This is accurate to 0.000001%. I have no idea and I don't care. I use it in a wall oven in an outdoor pizza oven. It does the job. Would I buy more? It would anyway.

Out of Service: Temperature Gauges & Sensors

This thermocouple was purchased to replace another which eventually gave out after three years of heavy use, but when I received it the temperature was high all over. Despite setting my PID to calibrate, the temperature fluctuated from 82 degrees to 121 degrees for ten minutes, while the thermometer I used as a reference showed only a one to two degree fluctuation. several times it caused me to overheat. The element heats the room to a temperature of more than 130 degrees, while showing aโ€ฆ

Works great as it should.

Works as it should. Extra-long wire won't pick up noise or give false, inaccurate readings. Use this thermocouple instead of trying to extend your short one. I use this item on my wood stove fan controlled by Arduino. At 150ยฐ. I would buy again. The product arrived neatly packaged. And just like the picture.

Good value for money

Good workmanship. The fitting allows for installation into the tank wall (with washers not included) where that is essential and this feature is different than the configuration of many of the alternatives listed. I simply changed the connections and replaced the traditional thermocouple block with two pins that attach to the meter. Tested in ice bath and boiling water to test accuracy and it's fine, but in my limited experience most Type-K applications are capable of temperatures higher thanโ€ฆ
