This light doesn't remember its settings when turned on and off. This is very annoying, especially when they are outside with a timer, for example. When turned off and on again, they revert to a gradual color changing pattern. I've bought others and they all remember their settings even when the device is completely powered off.

The remote is disappointing as it only works when you are about 3-4ft away. The fixture comes with connectors as if you could daisy chain it, but only one plug is supplied with each light. The cable is only 4 feet long. So if you are trying to cover a 10 foot wide wall you will need 2 lights and therefore 2 plugs. The aluminum pins broke with a simple hand pressure as they were pushed into the soft soil as if they were made of soft wood.

Excellent LED spotlights. Ripped out all the Malibu low voltage lights, bought some pigtails with 3 plugs, some x short ground wires and some silicone washers for the plugs and a couple rolls of self sealing electrical tabs to keep water and moisture out. These lights are quite bright by nature; even to the point where it hurts your eyes to look inside. This item has its pros and cons. On the positive side you can select any color with the remote control and the brightness is good for the price. The downsides are that you have to get close to the subject to light that subject. I have placed two orders for T-Sun 10W RGB light bulbs (5 packs). Compared to other lamps I ordered, they were all in perfect condition, the screens did not crack. I use them indoors but water still collects in the two bulbs. I contacted the company with this information but never received a reply.
