These 80/80 grit files are great! They do a really good job with acrylic gel nails, taking them off or shaping them in a snap. I actually use them to file my dog's nails - they're pretty rough so they take off a decent amount relatively quickly. The roughness of the files wears off after a few uses, but they're cheap enough that I can easily reorder them every few months.

I don't use electric files so I use them and they remove acrylic volume very easily and cleanly. Around the cuticles I would use a finer grit.
