Cool little camera!

This is a wonderful thing! I use it as a helmet cam when cycling and also as a DVR when driving. The included mounts work really well, not to mention the crisp HD quality of the camera itself! For me it's perfect! I highly recommend it!

Great digital camera gadget

We were blown away by the video quality from this little camera! I installed it on our Harley while touring the country and we have a great report of our trip. The vibration of the bike did not affect the camera. We even took it off and used it to record while holding it in our hands. I would recommend it with confidence!

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Some flaws

Good for work. on Digital Cameras

Works well. It has no jitter correction, so using a helmet mount instead of a motorcycle handlebar mount works much better. Rather than plugging the USB into the glider's electrical system, I purchased a small (pocket-sized) external power supply (from Revain) to run the camera longer than the internal battery would allow for 2 hours. Otherwise, the video quality is excellent.

Amazing little camera - Highly recommended

This is my second TachyonI camera. The one I bought a few years ago is the camera for my helmet. I bought this device to use as a DVR on my motorcycle. These little cameras are amazing. The video quality is great, the editing options are great, and the features are great. And their support team is the best and helped me to make some adjustments to my new camera.

Pros
  • Useful for more than intended purpose
Cons
  • Sad packaging

It's worth it! on Camera and Photo

This is by far one of the coolest and easiest cameras to use and own! Amazing video quality, good sound and very light! The field of view is pretty good and there isn't much fisheye in your videos. Amazing camera! Then you will get all the shooting accessories! I personally LOVE the rail mount. Protects the camera and attaches directly to any rail. You can get VERY cool angles with it. This camera is a MUST HAVE for anyone who has looked at a Go Pro or is thinking about getting one. I assure…

Ordered a Tachyon OPS 1080p to use as a light head cam. Shooting sport in front of the camera. As a social marketing consultant, I have a couple of small premium sports cameras for professional use. The problem with these other cameras is weight, battery life, and ease of use. Most sports cameras require covers, mounts, and straps to mount them on your head. This is not the case with OPS. A simple clip-on mount attaches directly to the shooter's hearing protection. The light weight makes this…

Be sure to buy another one!

I'm starting out using a lot of cameras, mostly DSLRs. I shoot a few videos for different needs and styles. This small, lightweight camera got me out of a sticky situation or two. The video quality is not what you would expect from such a small camera. It's not a replacement for a DSLR, I don't mean that, but for mounting on a helmet, on the side of a car or on a gun, this little camera is perfect. I used it not only for work but also for fun. I've installed them on my 4WD and RC cars, among…
