Always had a bad connection (had to wiggle the cable to get a good connection). Recently the microphone stopped working completely. I bought another cable and haven't had any problems since.

The extension works, but the plug doesn't sit as firmly in the devices as I would like. That's why I give 4 stars. Otherwise there are no problems with the sound and the construction makes a solid impression. It was cheap to buy and I wasn't disappointed.

This is an amazing cable! It is woven, feels comfortable, but a little slippery, so you might accidentally pull it out, but don't pull too tight. It's as long as advertised and works exactly as you'd expect from a direct connection. Would definitely buy again!

If I heard anything with this cable, the mic-in would pick up what was on the audio-out. This could happen even without a headset plugged in, so the problem was clearly in the cable. I am returning this cable and trying a different brand.

A lot of output/headphone feedback leaked into my mic and vice versa. I couldn't use the mic at all because of the "echo" and the strong feedback. Using a different cable solved the problem. I was able to measure some continuity between the cable shield/ground and the mic input on the cable, which was causing the problem. I traced the leak to the cable's socket and can easily replace it.

a smartphone devices, in my case an Android smartphone and tablet, older version (2015) Revain Fire 7. To clarify, my speaker jack has 2 colored rings while my smart devices need 3 colored rings (see image). reference image to understand what I mean by colored rings on the audio jack). Why 3 rings? This is because headphones usually have a voice-activated microphone so you can make phone calls.
