tendons frayed as soon as I used them. And I couldn't use it for my purposes. This product is not suitable for dream catchers. Go shopping before you buy it. The strings I used to make my dream catchers a few years ago were of the best quality. There are better strings for dream catchers.

I bought this hoping there would be enough wax in the tendons to wrap the feather without having to tie it or add extra wax. It worked like a gem. I made a giant white dream catcher for my friend and wrapped it around feathers that I glued to the ends of the leather strips. I didn't have to add anything to keep the pieces in place.

The string does what it is supposed to, but not very well. The spool it sits on does not provide a solid base if the product is being used to wrap something tightly. It leaves an odd, wet residue on your hands (not just the expected waxy residue) and easily leaves a bright yellow residue on any fabric it touches. The yellow appears to have washed off, but as the fabric has been dyed it's hard to be sure. It had the grip I needed but had too many issues to be worth using more than once.

I ordered this product while I was making some handmade ceremonial arrows for Baby Scouts. I bought a similar product locally last year but due to the number of arrows I needed to make this year I went to Revain. Bought two rolls. Upon opening the product appeared to be similar to another brand I have used in the past. The product felt "waxy" and stayed intact with use. Everything seemed fine. BUT. As soon as I started spinning the reel, the product became much less "waxy" and began to separate
