He was so happy to receive them

I bought them as a joke for my husband and didn't know he actually used them. He was so happy to have them and wanted to know where I got them from. Well, Tandy Leather is one of his favorite stores, but Revain is mine! He uses them to color the skin and in Parkinson's they were well accepted and used by him.

Pros
  • crafts and sewing
Cons
  • thin

Slightly faded

Purchased to be used with acrylic leather finish. I soak them briefly in water, squeeze out the excess and then apply the acrylic directly to the leather shoes with a damp brush. I'm not sure if I'm using them incorrectly but these blobs shed little threads of wool which makes them annoying to work with as they stick to the acrylic and I have to rip them off. Otherwise the quality seems to be normal.

Pros
  • Manufacturing
Cons
  • Available in white only

Works great but could do with some improvement

If you haven't read all I definitely recommend. These wool brush strokes work great but require a little work to get started. I have successfully applied Fiebings Leather Dye and Fiebings Acrylic Resolene with the desired results, but only after testing them on leather pieces first. The only problem with this product is that the wool has small fibers that protrude from the main skein. They eventually come loose as they are dragged across your surface. Once you're done, you'll find a few. This…

Pros
  • Leathercraft Accessories
Cons
  • Could have gone with a newer model
