Description of πŸ”© Small Parts 138322005 U-Style Clip-On Nut, Steel with Plain Finish, M6-1 Thread Size, for Material Thickness 0.8 mm-4 mm, 12 mm Edge Distance, Metric (Pack of 25)

Designed to clip onto panels for quick alignment and fasten with a machine screw for a secure hold. Clip is U-shaped for a secure hold on both sides of the panel when screwing down. Hole is tapped, or fully threaded, for screws that need to extend beyond the bottom of the nut. Steel is often used in applications where strength is the primary consideration. Plain Surface has no.

new sticker on old box

This package has a new sticker showing the M6-1 thread size, but it covers the original sticker showing 1/4-20 thread and indeed is the content 1/4 thread -20, so it doesn't work at all with M6-1 screws.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • minor issues

great snap nuts on plate nuts

Factory version is $8 each. So much more economical. My truck uses this type of nut on the bottom bracket of my headlights. The OE broke making it difficult to reinstall the headlight. It was a bit tricky to put the clip back on, but it's been working great ever since. 48

  • Comfortable to use

U-bolt/nut required for 2005 Mazda 3.

Exact replacement for rusted or broken nuts on my 2005 Mazda 3. Only one remained intact and was broken even then. I also replaced four clips with a new part because they are covered and these clips are not. It matched perfectly and the screws I bought worked well (25 Sems 6-1.0 x 25mm metric hex screws - CA type).

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Slightly dented

Useful 6mm jam nuts on all sides.

Very handy for attaching the body of Japanese cars. These special materials are slightly thinner than others purchased from Revain. Consequently they do not have the same gripping power as the heavier ones for 6mm bolts/screws. As a rule, however, they are sufficient and useful. Most hardware stores don't have them, and dealers will discount them if they even have them.

Pros
  • Works great for me
Cons
  • Clarity

Well intentioned but horrible design Bumper tabs break

Purchased to replace rusty OEM units. You are terrible. You have a wrench meant to press on the lugs, but it essentially expands the threads so the OEM bolt won't reach the threads when you install it on the bumper lugs. I wanted to remove them from my OEM tabs and the juicer/wrench design damaged my OEM tabs. Absolute rubbish

Pros
  • Stable test results
Cons
  • Easily repairable

Threaded clamp HE M6 x 1.0

This product is NOT as advertised. They will not fit M-6 metric bolts. They fit the M-8, which is much larger. I specifically measured and found that I needed clips for the M-6 bolts. Guess what? They don't fit and are too big for my application because the seller gave wrong data. Waste of time, money spent on buying and returning. Do it right; I know what you're talking about. I wonder why you get so many return requests? You do not care.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Good overall but...
