Ideal for the application - Delivered on time

To be used for a prototype project: a medical device for orthopedic rehabilitation patients. Great for the application. Delivered on time.

Good low frequency buzzer for the hard of hearing

These buzzers are real electromechanical vibrating BUZZERS - just what I was looking for. So many (electronic) piezo sounders are sold as buzzers but are nothing more than tiny high frequency tone generators that I can't hear due to high frequency loss caused by noise. Most small devices and instruments today use piezo sounders, so I've already replaced many of them with these buzzers with a lower fundamental frequency.

Pros
  • Warning signals
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Bought hoping they would produce a 400Hz sound more like a pure sine fundamental like a flute but naturally square (like the sound of a harmonica), rich overtones. Well they all worked out of the box and would be useful for any horn project but unfortunately not for my project. Great little buzzer for the money but note that the sound will vary depending on the mounting technique. Recommended for medium loud horn sound.

Pros
  • Industrial & Scientific
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly
