For the price this is a great deal. I used them for my filter material and they do their job perfectly. Haven't used it for a long time but am happy with it so far.

Save time on aquarium pumps and filters

Great product, you can prepare media bags in advance and install them quickly when changing filter media. Reusable and the zips are of pretty good quality so will last a long time. love these things.

Useful. Soft. Good water drainage.

Tough pockets that let water through easily. The zipper is made of plastic and will not rust. Would have liked to have had multiple sizes/bag ranges rather than all one size but these are really good bags.

Holes too big - useless

Holes too big - they are useless except for big media like ceramic rings or similar. But they are so poorly made that I wouldn't put anything heavy in them. The zippers don't close well either. Damn bad product.

The best filter bags I've ever bought

Not only are they the right size, they are easier to carry around and the zipper works much better than the lanyard. They are also much more durable and easier to rinse out for reuse. Do yourself a favor and buy these filter bags.

Large size for filter media and cleaning stones NOT designed to capture carbon

They do what they are designed to do! Bad reviews are a shame. If you can't figure out if these holes are larger than expected but you know the basic math to figure out the mesh size you need, they work perfectly. They are used for rocks for hill aquascaping or for filter materials! DOES NOT WORK FOR CARBON. look elsewhere But if you're looking for something to hold filter material or stuff it with rocks for hillside scenery, this is for you!
