I love things that do two things! This item not only holds my box of baking soda and shows me the temperature of my fridge, but also reminds me when to change the baking soda. And it can be washed in the dishwasher, making it easy to clean. For the price it's value.

Thinking it would be a good way to store baking soda in the fridge I bought it. It only gets two stars because it includes a box of soda. It's difficult to open, the thermometer readings are inaccurate, and it doesn't seem to have enough ventilation to do its job. It's best to use a plain old box and be careful not to spill it.

Not a bad product but I don't know why I bought it - maybe for the fridge thermometer function as I had to replace the one that fell out of my fridge and it broke. I was really looking for a container for the box of baking soda I use for baking/cooking as I can only store it in a ziploc bag. Taylor thermometers are very reliable and reasonably priced.
