The product description says it's stainless steel but it hurts my ears. I only wear stainless steel because of the issues with other metals and wash them 2 times a day.

They're light but not terrible. I really like that they are internally threaded and don't put any strain on my earlobes when installed.

if your ears are sensitive to certain metals do not buy them every time I insert a pair, my ear will after a few days crust and break badly very irritated, if it wasn't for that i would love them but i can't even wear them long before my ears hurt

Tunnels arrived very quickly. My downside was that after just a full day (end of an eight hour shift) my ears were green and swollen (yes my ears are fully healed and have been for years). If I ever order anything else I will stay away from metals and stick to organic materials.
