📼 Super High Resolution Type II Audio Cassette Tape - TDK SA 90 min Review

Present for mum on her 80th birthday. Her old cassettes were dragging on, she thought she needed a new cassette player. I showed her how it would take care of it. It happened! Sounds good.

I purchased this product for a transcription project. The seller was professional and helpful and the item arrived as described and well ahead of the estimated arrival date.

I have been using TDK SA for over 20 years, tape cartridges, tape reels and I think this is the best tape on the market. Market. Unfortunately, I can no longer find any spool cassettes. Recording and playback: The sound is just great. I have tried many other brands but always come back to TDK.

TDK SA 90 competes with Maxell XLII 90. Both have excellent recording quality. The mechanism in TDK SA 90 is better than in Maxell. The Maxell mechanism has too much drag, which negatively affects the integrity of the recording on Class A cassette decks. I have regularly bought a five pack of SA 90 cassettes for about the same price as a five pack of Maxell cassettes for many years. wow! I agree with all the rave reviews about the quality of this volume. The performance of this tape is near perfect, in addition it is beautifully finished and the mechanism is excellent, very quiet when rewinding or fast-forwarding. The only band that can top this is metal, but not by much. With this band you get the best of both worlds; great performance along with a solid build. Now I understand why they cost so much but if you can afford it it's a great investment. TDK rocks!
