☕ Talent Porcelain Tea Infuser with Saucer Review

I really like this ensemble: a teacup with lid and saucer and a handy loose tea strainer. This is the perfect size for a mug. It feels solid, although the grip's one-hole fit may not fit every finger(?). The gold dragon design is beautiful and the colors are clear and bright. This is a beautiful piece of art and almost too pretty to use. I love the two I bought (blue and red) and will cherish them every time I have Chinese tea with Chinese snacks!

I got this to replace the stainless steel strainer I used at work, thought I could taste the metal on the 2nd brew. This works very well, although it leaves more sediment in my cup than a fine mesh strainer, I can live with that. One thing I would suggest is to put more/fewer holes in it and as for the ledge at the bottom of the insert I would probably make it a little higher and notch to allow for the liquid that comes out to have room to go . From what I understand, porcelain glaze stains the surface of the glaze, while stains in ceramic mugs penetrate the pores of the pottery. Porcelain's advantages also outweigh metal unless you use it for travel. Metals can permeate liquids, causing liquids to acquire a metallic taste.
