Sifting your matcha powder also produces a much more delicious cup of matcha green tea. Our Matcha Tin with Mesh comes in various colors, and includes a convenient little scoop. A great choice for matcha enthusiasts and tea houses.

Poorly painted Japanese tea ceremony tableware

There is a good coat of paint on the canister body, but the lid is unfortunately stained. Otherwise maybe everything is fine. But I have returned.

Pros
  • Beautiful packaging
Cons
  • Exchange possibility

More than I thought was normal. The paddle does.

Bigger than I thought and that's okay. The paddle does NOT fit into the top but I simply decided to bend it to fit and the problem was solved.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Only available in white

My paint doesn't completely cover the top cover.

Underspray The paint on the top cap is not fully sprayed and covers the base metal. Probably not on all released versions - mine must have failed quality control.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Not the best

Poor quality in the kitchen and dining room

The lid doesn't seem to close very well - it doesn't have a seal. All in all poor quality and not worth the money. There is a colander with a similar price that feels more comfortable. I ended up sending this item back.

Pros
  • Test for one year
Cons
  • Functionality

Rusty Pieces. Please be careful

UPDATED REVIEW: The mesh screen part is made of unsuitable stainless steel. This one was rusty and leaking black liquid when I soaked it in plain hot water overnight to remove any matcha residue. I'm not sure if this is safe, please be careful. Previous Rating: (about 2-3 months ago) God I love this! Now it's easy to have a matcha with you! That saved my life!

Pros
  • Availability
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

The best combination sieve! About Japanese Tea Ceremony Utensils

I was concerned about purchasing this container combination for my very expensive Matcha Ceremonial Tea. I'm so glad I didn't listen to the only review available. That's great! The strainer is placed in the bottom glass along with a storage spatula along with my tea powder. I don't have any rust problems as described above. I love it! Look at this container. Update February 25, 2018 I still love this strainer but it would be better if the handle on the spatula was longer because you get tea on…

Pros
  • Finally Purchased
