Unsuitable for stovetop in kitchen and dining room

I mistook that cast iron meant it could be used on the stovetop. It is for storing and serving tea, not for heating water. It was great but I returned as it wasn't what I needed.

Adorable little brewer!

I like everything about it. If people didn't know it was brew only then they didn't read their purchase because it says so. Most kettles with a strainer inside are not stove-top compatible. I love it! I make Thai teas.

Should not be placed on the stove and will rust if not cleaned thoroughly

The only thing I didn't know is that it was not meant to be placed on the stove. I thought, of course, that you could put it on the stove and heat the water in it, but don't do that with this one. I ended up getting a kettle that I sometimes pour in, but that was my fault because I didn't really understand how such kettles work. it really keeps it hotter longer if you preheat it with some hot water and then infuse the tea and I really like the design. It's also rusting a little on top, but I'm…
