A lot of stabilizer for a good price. However

Lots of stabilizer at a good price. However, I will not buy again. Yes, it's teary, but it tears too easily. When repairing the item, it was often torn to where I was supposed to clamp a new piece. So yes you get a ton for a good price but you may end up using more than you need because you could just tear it up if you put your project where it is no longer stabilized. I haven't had this problem of the stabilizer bar tearing when attaching when using another store bought brand.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • No power

Works well but doesn't always tear cleanly

I use it in 10" and 12" widths in the largest rolls I can find. I find it very good value for money - and the product works as advertised. I like it a lot more than the "spongy" kind with holes. It can be a little difficult to remove from some things, and it doesn't always come off cleanly. I have to take out the tweezers to get to some places. It also leaves some fluffy fibers around the edges. I don't know how many other breakaway stabilizers are out there and if they are all like this one…

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Incredible piggy bank

Heavy paper feel and sticky embroidery

Update: I've used this on a few projects I've been working on. Because it's so papery but thick, it didn't end up working as well as I would have liked. When the needle went through the fabric, i.e. through it, she stuck to the needle so that the thread came out again. I will use it for other projects but it doesn't work as well as other stabilizers I usually use (brand name starts with F and ends with i). I think if you go for something cheaper, you pay for it one way or another. Very…

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • something different
