Description of Tebery Protectors 11Mm Replacement Standard Trekking

Made of durable light weight rubber. An extra metal layer added to prevents the metal tip from poking through the rubber. These 7/16 inch tips are designed to fit a majority of the hiking and trekking poles found on Amazon and in local outdoor stores. These tip protectors prevent premature wearing of metal tips and are also easy on the environment as they minimize terrain scarring and prevent damage to nature. Use on hard surfaces liked paved trails, roads, sidewalks, or rocky terrain and feel the additional traction from the tips to help prevent slipping and improve stability. Rubber tips wear and have a tendency to become loose and slide off, so it's always a good idea to carry extra tips especially for long hikes.

Strong but heavy, good for outdoor activities

We make carbon fiber hiking poles because they need to be light. Light glued legs tend to pierce the ground with a tungsten tip. They have a steel disk inside to prevent this, but they are so heavy that they defeat the purpose of using lampposts. But for short trips into the city it's ok.

Wear after 7.8 km

I do Nordic walking for training. I use Leki Instructor poles and walk on asphalt and concrete. I'm constantly looking for alternatives to Leki tips for $20 a pair. These particular tips go with my trekking poles, but based on my experience I'll get 48 miles out of a whole batch of 24. On my first walk with these attachments, about 2.5 miles away, I heard a click. I checked and the tips are completely worn out on one side. I rotated the tips 180 degrees and went home. At mile 4.8 the other side

Excellent value for money! good for trekking poles

They were originally developed to protect the tips of the poles from damage caused by the constant grinding of paved roads. The material is stiffer and the final embossing is different. Difficult, Rocky Terrain: This is often a tougher use case for enthusiasts. It is likely that most carbon fiber poles are also used in a similar way. I use two pairs of sticks with handles and two "sticks" with handles on the ends that cover the tripod's 1/4" screws, all aluminum. Such sticks are reminiscent of…
