I use a reflective belt when I walk my dogs early in the morning. I use a reflective velcro strap on it. The machines see us. I feel safer.

I love these reflectors. I get paranoid that the riders can't see me (because I only run in the evenings) so I use reflectors on my runs to be extra careful.

I attach 3 lights to my belt for extra security when I walk in the dark every morning. I wear ankle cuffs. I have small ankles and wrists so they might not be a bonus for you. They say up to 10 inches but the number is 9 1/2 inches so you can staple them together.

My husband bikes to work very early in the morning, with a backpack for lunch. I bought a twin pack to attach a strap to his lunch bag and he loves it.
