No more algae blooms

Works like a champ, there was too much algae in my saltwater tank. Bought an old used canister filter cheap, replaced the bulb with this and noticed a big difference after 24 hours. Would definitely recommend friends and family to buy it, it has been working for over 30 days and my tank looks great.

I thought now is the time to replace it with a new one and save it.

Does not work immediately after packaging. Pulled the pump out to clean and the original lightbulb has been there for a long time. It still works. I thought now is the time to replace it with a new one and leave the old one as a spare. I received my Sun Sun Bulb last week so it was a good time to replace it with a new one. SUNSUN DOES NOT PRODUCE UV-RESISTANT PLASTIC HOUSINGS FOR ITS UV SYSTEMS! NOT SAFE FOR A HOBBY!

Bulbs work as advertised but only last about 6 months with sufficient power. However, SUNSUN's plastic cases are made very cheaply from unstable plastic that is not UV resistant. This means that the UV light emitted by these lamps will break down plastic within 1 month and release toxic plastic resins into your aquarium or pond; very bad design.
