Works as intended and easy to install

I installed a hitch on my 2017 Cherokee Trailhawk and needed a wiring harness. I chose this 4-pin harness because of the ease of installation. The hardest part was routing the power cable from the back to the battery. My Cherokee wasn't on a lift so I had to scoot onto my back to run the wire through the front. But other than that it was a very simple build with connectors that plug into the existing lighting connectors, as well as a fuse and connector that goes to the battery.

Pros
  • Special Offer
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Works as advertised

This wiring system was fairly easy to wire up but be sure to watch the video tutorial on installation and watch it in full before you start. The hardest part is routing the power cable to the front of your jeep. If you don't like cous. Hire someone else to install it. LOL Note: I don't have a car lift. If you are lucky enough to have one, then yours is spot on! Once I connected everything. Worked great the first time. I didn't have to fix anything when I was done and I didn't have to lengthen…

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Nothing

Great set, professional installation

Very good set. High quality. Everything you need to work professionally is available for 1/3 the cost. I recommend that you watch some YouTube videos of others installing them before trying it yourself. Also, some hard plastic tubing or fiberglass tape will help you thread the ends through the taillight plates and bushings. This setup is in no hurry and do it. Allow enough time for this project. This kit is really good and includes everything except duct tape and the basic tools to make it…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

Worked great on lighting and electrics

I added this to my jeep and it works great. Pulling connectors through the rear side panels was difficult, especially on the right side. The big bulky jeep connector was pita for bottom to top feeding. A good product upgrade might be to use a smaller plug that plugs into the device so you route the connection top to bottom. back left. It was tucked under the back, not sure what it was for, but it wasn't plugged in. So I used it to power the device instead of pulling a wire to the battery. Works

Pros
  • Expensive but decent
Cons
  • Can damage

good for 2015 but good for lighting and electrics

I installed this on my wife's 2015 KL. Installation went smoothly, but it's definitely missing. The instructions suck and tell you to basically do it in reverse order than would be easiest. You will need a 1/4" and 3/8" split loom to get it right. You will need to remove the 8mm bolts from the bottom of the bumper, the 7m bolts from the exhaust pipes and the clips along the bottom of the bumper. Unlike most of them, you also need to power this thing - there's a 12v socket on the rear corner…

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options
