Excellent Sockets

Excellent sockets for the money, have been actively used for years and have not had any failures. They don't slide around like most cheaper sets, which is my favorite. The only complaint is that they rust fairly easily, my shop is unsealed so on hot summer days it all sweats and the surface rusts a little, so I oil them about once a year.

Not a fan of the 12-point head

The 12-point head slips too often. So far I haven't seriously damaged or peeled anything, but over time I may switch to hex sockets. If it were possible to sharpen the teeth/tips to the end of the socket they could be better. You have enough clearance from the tip of the socket to the teeth gripping the bolt to slip off if you're not careful. Otherwise a good product.

Pros
  • Custom sockets
Cons
  • No automatic

I needed a pair of 12 point sockets for a specific job I was doing, to buy the 4 sockets I needed, the tool cost over a hundred dollars, I got 2 complete socket sets for less than $65, they worked pretty well well no I know all about latch quality but I don't use 12 point aviation sockets very often, they did the job perfectly. I would buy them again in a minute good tool for the…
