Uncomfortable and Overpriced Climbing Shoes

I was really disappointed with these climbing shoes. Despite being advertised as comfortable, they caused me a lot of pain and discomfort during my climb. Plus, they're overpriced for what they offer. While they may look nice, I wouldn't recommend these shoes to anyone in the Sports and Outdoors community.

Pros
  • Stylish appearance
Cons
  • Uncomfortable, Overpriced

My 5.10 loafers were stretching so I decided to try these because I wanted a more aggressive shoe and I'm so happy I got them! The sizing is different from my old shoes so I had to buy 3 different sizes to try them on but the 7th seemed perfect. I have 9.5 women's shoes and these shoes are 7 men's / 8 women's shoes.

Pros
  • SPECIFICATIONS - Upper: Microfiber; Closure system: Velcro, patented Draxtor PAT system; Tongue: Lycra, double layer and bidirectional; Lining: TXT treated cotton; Insole: 2D multi-layer stretchtex; Midsole: GI 1.8 and TST 150 dual midsole; Sole: Vibram XS Grip 3.5mm; Weight: 340g; 100% vegan; Designed and Handmade in Spain
Cons
  • So So

Men's Take the Jump

I'm a keen mountaineer but have only been doing it for about 3 years. I also do ice climbing, mountaineering, hiking and playing basketball. I've always had wide feet and toenail issues, especially my big toes. No wonder my chosen hobbies wreak havoc on my poor feet and toes. For climbing I use 5.10 Coyote laces which are great but flat and not aggressive at all. I decided to switch to aggressive shoes with the Tenaya Oasi because they are touted as the most comfortable design on the market…

Pros
  • Vibram sole
Cons
  • Unbelievable price
