The bag has been redesigned

I don't like the new bag design. The images on Revain (and also on the Tenba website, by the way) are out of date. The bag has been redesigned and now has a fully open back when opened as shown in the attached photos. Only posting this to save someone the trouble of ordering and not getting the item they intended for. This is an insert for the BYOB 9 DLSR backpack, not sure if the BYOB 10 has been redesigned as well.

  • Great for a small home

Nice camera insert but too small for a normal backpack

I sent it back it was much smaller than in the picture or in the description. It was well made and could accommodate a multi-lens mirrorless camera. It's still too small to fit well in my backpack, and the next size up is more suited to larger (deeper) camera bodies. I want a back that's wider and taller overall, but with depth for a mirrorless camera. This is very expensive for a foreign product.

Pros
  • finally bought
Cons
  • a sad package

Large selection - backpacks

Great backpack insert for small bags. I use it in a small foldable backpack (Riut Crush) and it fits perfectly leaving room at the top. The design allows for top access as well as front access. Very nice, the zippers need to be broken in - they get caught on the padding the first few times. This is my third Tenba product and I am very happy with the quality and design.

Too thin. Back to the G graph.

need some more to hold d300 and 80-200. It doesn't have much structure, especially when it's open, so I think you have to be very careful when opening or closing it. I thought I'd like a combination of top and side entry, but I think you've lost too much structure. A large shoulder strap would also be useful if you don't carry it in your backpack. I love the idea of a dedicated backpack insert and it has no competition. I return and exit the graphics.

Good but bad price

Good product, good zipper although different from the photo. It would be nice if they added D-rings or loops on the side to attach an extra strap. I got this because I'm traveling abroad this summer and wanted something for my backpack without having to buy a special bag. Works well with my bag so far. It's a little larger than I expected so fits comfortably in a 28 liter bag. I've had situations where I'd like to wear this, like at the airport when my backpack was being used for clothes. But I

A great solution to organize your gear in regular bags!

BYOB 9 rating. For me this was the perfect solution. I carry my gear in the Pelican 1500 most of the time. Sometimes carrying a hard case isn't the best situation. This soft carrying case fits perfectly in a regular non-camera bag (which is great for carrying expensive photo gear). I also occasionally carry my gear with just this case. Please see my pictures of my Canon 5D IV and various lenses; 24-70mm 2.8L, 85mm 1.2L and 100mm 2.8L. I love how I can customize my rig and put it in this bagโ€ฆ
