🏡 Terra By Battat Wood Barn Review

Seriously, this is the best barn! I am very impressed with the quality of the materials. My 3 year old loves it! I also bought a Terra Country Animal Bucket and it goes great with the shed. It was easy to assemble and seems to hold up to years of play. I highly recommend it!

This toy is not made entirely of wood. All doors, windows, railings as well as the stairs and the entire base are made of plastic. Had I known, I probably would have bought a Hearth & Hand toy barn instead. Also, one of the internal pins has a deformed shape that makes it impossible to attach the clip that holds the front piece to the side panel. I haven't decided yet whether to keep it or return it.

My 2 and 3 year olds have been playing with it every day since we got it and it has retained its strong stability and hasn't lost color which is common with most mid to low priced toys - fading. If your kids want an old McDonald's barn, this is it. It comes with many different animal toys compatible with all the brands we've tried so far except Barbie. These horses can only watch with envy as the small horses and ponies rest in the spacious stable.

I love this barn! We bought a Playmobil last year and parts of it kept falling apart. This terra scale is durable, ideal for Playmobil or larger animals (Schleich, Terra, etc.). I like how the top opens. However, be careful with children under three opening and closing - we had a toddler here who got his fingers pinched. Very good materials, labor intensive but easy to assemble. Well made but expensive. It looks like it will last for generations. Cons: It was packaged in this weird "fuzzy" styrofoam and there was hair on all the parts so I had to vacuum everything and then someone wiped all the parts to get all the styrofoam hair off of them.
