That came in handy when I moved into the house.

This came in very handy when the house I moved into had a 3 prong outlet for the dryer instead of the 4 prong cord I had. Was an easy swap, works great.

didn't work well for extension cords

it didn't work and it's sad it can't be returned, the dryer turns on and off when the serviceman comes out and basically pays half he kept plugging and working a day, bought a new cable from lowes and had no more problems. Please note that a broken cord can still power the dryer without heating.

Saved the day as the standard braid that came with.

Saved the day as the standard braid that came with the dryer wasn't enough and the equipment guys were incompetent anyway and didn't bring anything (used my tools and even my WD40 which goes everywhere without when they're working on things ?).
