This tent has failed in almost every way a tent can fail. It does little or nothing to protect you from the elements. While the full mesh design is a fun idea, it is totally counterintuitive to what a tent should offer. After just one night in the desert with a raincoat, the inside of the tent was completely covered with sand (see picture). I bought this tent for a long trip to a geology camp (5 weeks camping). 3 weeks ago it turned upside down due to strong winds, although it was pricked and pulled. When it tipped over, BOTH poles broke (and on both at the same joint), bent, and tore a large hole in my rain cover and net. The wind was strong but not strong. So far I have really liked my tent! It has survived several camping trips and a week in the rain with no leaks. I liked that there were no drafts, but I've never had a problem
