They are flexible and easy to put on in shoes. We used them as homemade Montessori school shoes that stayed in school all year. There was a consensus that half sizes would have been better, but we had no problem going up in sizes mid-year, so that's it. Our kid has tried to bring them home to wear a few times because he loved them so much!

I'm obsessed. Now we have all Embers. My whole family changed shoes for her. Nice wide sock, warm but not sweaty. Super flexible yet supportive. That's love.

I've been looking for hiking shoes for a long time. You are perfect! I have a small foot and bought the child size. I don't see any quality difference between the adult version and the kid version.
