Teva is ok and definitely one of the best manufacturers of this type of sandals. However, they are quite expensive. I think CAMEL CROWN hiking sandals for men are even better and 30-50% cheaper. The Tevas soles aren't the best either. Not as durable as the Camel Crowns and the sole of the Teva sandal has a texture that does help prevent a bit of slippage but is a bit uncomfortable on the foot, a bit abrasive.

They were just received so I can't say for sure of their durability. However, after a failed delivery process (through Revain's fault) they arrived and were fantastic! I was drawn to the multi colored 90's scheme and they are a delight! Pretty comfortable for strappy sandals (I haven't worn them in years either). Cool neon velcro, Teva was perfect in every detail. I bought these primarily for running in the rain. Be it a drizzle, a downpour or hot, clear and sunny weather, these shoes are very comfortable. I live in Florida so it's not very cold.
