Teva Womens ELZADA Sandal Medium Women's Shoes : Athletic Review

Does not fit. Lack of arch support. The adjustable straps are too long. I have a normal, medium width foot. With the straps in place, there is almost 2 inches of extra strap with Velcro sticking out.

The shoes are so individual and every foot is so different. My feet are very picky about what they tolerate but they love Teva flip flops which are more expensive shoes with good arches. I have so many now in every color and design. At last my feet are happy wanderers.

I wanted to like them as they fit perfectly in size and color and also have enough arch support. however, the plastic ring that holds the strap from the back of my foot to the sole digs into my instep from the outside. I would have to wear moleskin to keep it from chafing. This appears to be a design flaw as there is no obvious fix for this. I am sad as I have to return two pairs.

This is my second pair of Teva shoes and I would highly recommend them to anyone. I bought them for a holiday but didn't wear them as the skin on my legs was bleeding and they were turning yellow. I was disappointed that this happened but that won't make me abandon the brand. I wore them around the house and there was no yellowing on my legs. I don't know why they did it while I was out of town.

The straps are never adjusted properly. Either too tight, or the straps are comfortable when standing, or the sandals are too loose when walking. I've always worn Teva Tirra sandals but they don't make flip flop style Tirras anymore so I bought two pairs of these flip flops instead. Not as comfortable or as supportive as Tirras. They may work for some but not for me.
