Description of TFBOY Top-Load Border Guide Foot - Universal Fit for Low Shank Snap-On Sewing Machines: Singer, Brother, Babylock, Euro-Pro, Simplicity, White, Janome, Kenmore, Juki, New Home

Top-Load Border Guide foot Stitch For Singer Brother Janome, the pin of presser foot is 6MM. The secret to the border guide foot lies in the red guide marks. The two sets of vertical red lines are calibrated to allow perfect spacing of rows. The horizontal red line matches the needle drop so you can line up the start of each row. The small red mark denotes the center of the design for lining up with the marking for the first row. Now the Border Guide Foot helps you to easily match up your border designs with the red lines of the foot. No need to mark every row beforehand! Help to sew parallel lines. Fits All Low Shank Snap-On Singer* (Some Singers Require Low Shank Adaptor), Brother, Babylock, Euro-Pro, Janome, Kenmore, White, Juki, New Home, Simplicity, Necchi and Elna Sewing Machines

Fits Brother JX 2517

I'm still new to sewing. But it worked on my Brother JX2517. And I've only used it a couple of times so I could write a review. I personally like it. It helps me stay straight while sewing, very easy to put on. I basically wanted the ones that needed to know which sewing machine it would be attached to. And my brother did just that.

This is a good foot if it fits your rod

This is a good foot if it fits your rod. If not, you'll have to go to a sewing store and buy a foot that fits the crossbar. There are two widths; one that suits Pfaff. etc. and one that fits Husqvarna etc. THERE ARE TWO different handlebar widths. Go to a sewing machine store and ask what kind of foot you need for your foot.

Pros

Cons
  • Expensive

My god I love that little foot!

Yesterday I made a curved pocket flap with facing rows on it and the bottom curved edge needed to be tucked in less than 1/4 inch before it was sewn on. Bring the edge of the foot over the curved band, sew the bottom edge in a perfectly fitting curve, then use this stitch as a sewing line to fold it in. This project alone was worth this price :=) I know I will use it often when adding multiple rows of trims to align in my craft. I've just had to go back and buy another to always have a spare…
