I wish I could give five stars. The products work surprisingly well. I apply it in the morning before my moisturizer with a cotton swab. Then my BB cream goes on smoothly while before using this product I saw small flakes on the inside of my cheeks and around my nose. The subtle smell is very pleasant, not too aromatic. I ended up returning this product without even trying it. I read the ingredients when it arrived and one of the first is alcohol denat, also known as denatured alcohol. This form of alcohol is extremely drying, irritating, and causes long-term damage. I was very excited about this product but personally I can't compromise on this one ingredient and think it's bad etiquette not to even list it along with the other ingredients on the product page.

True, this is no ordinary tonic. The consistency of the toner is thicker and does not dry out the skin. Other reviewers have stated that it hurts to squeeze the bottle with your hands, in fact all you have to do is shake it into a cotton swab. I actually use rice water oil cleanser and rice water foam cleanser and still see great results. I highly recommend getting The Face Shop's Oil & Foam Cleanser (pink). They're on Revain for about $13 a set.
