Quiet, inexpensive, works well

I had to add case fans to my build as the Thermaltake Core V21 only comes with 1 front intake fan. Noise. I have a mesh case, the only time I hear any noise is when I manually turn the fans to full speed. This works well with Gigabyte RGB Fusion 2 software. There is no need to buy an RGB controller if your phone supports ARGB. As previously mentioned, there is a fair amount of cable to manage. One of my SSD bays consists only of fan cables; And I still have some fan cables in one of the 3.5…

Big ARGB fans: Internals

I have the Thermaltake View 51 case; To do this I installed 3 of these on the bottom replacing the fans I used for my 360 CoolerMaster heatsink and 1 which is the rear system fan. They have a regular 4-pin PWM connector, as well as a micro 3-pin connector that can be daisy-chained to other devices in the range (plus Pure 14 ARGB and Pure 20 ARGB for me). Under DC, like the 14th series, they work up to 40%. The 20 series only works 50%. The kit includes two different 5V ARGB cables that plug…

They blow air well for computers and accessories

Well, in terms of a fan, they work, but for some reason only the light doesn't work. For reference, I only have 5 (2 from AIO cooler, 3 of them) and none of them work properly. I can get 3 of them glowing blue but even with 2 separate controllers nothing happens when you press the buttons. So I buy a third party Argb controller, same thing. 3 are solid blue, don't change colors, 2 just don't work. I've tried connecting the fans to the controller one by one to see if I can get everything to work

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons
  • Requires an outlet

I ordered two sets (6 fans total) and was able to wire them all in series and they had one header on my motherboard for LED control and two headers for PWM fan control. These fans are very quiet even when they rev up to handle a lot of heat. Sometimes I wonder if my computer is on (if it weren't for the LEDs, of course). They were very easy to install and didn't require a connection to the motherboard to drive the LEDs, but I can't comment on how well it works since I didn't have to use them. I

ThermalTake-your-chances

I build a lot of gaming systems for friends and a lot of them use Thermaltake cases. Some of these friends also want RGB, and I cringe because Thermaltake can't define a standard for RGB on a case-by-case basis. I received them to add to the Thermaltake V200 but they are not compatible. No, these Thermaltake fans are not compatible with the Thermaltake case. This means they cannot connect to the RGB control board on the case so you can only use the remote that comes with the fans BUT the 3 fans

Great airflow with minimal noise!

Before buying these fans I had three different fans in my case, all of them from blowing to noisy. Now that these fans are installed I can hardly tell my computer has been there and temperatures have stayed lower than when the mixed fans were installed. The RGB controller modes look awful and I'm glad I bought them! The only thing I missed and what to keep in mind is that if you want to use the ARGB function and connect it to the motherboard, make sure (at least from an ASUS point of view) that
