I'm back to baking because of the virus. The temperature in my oven was erratic so I bought these oven thermometers to keep an eye on the temperature. The large dial makes reading easier.

Works well but would like a larger face. I had to bend the piece of metal that hangs over the stand so it doesn't fall off when the stand is pulled out, but that doesn't really matter. Do the necessary work.

Love the fact that it fits a fixed distance between 3" oven racks without getting in the way of my baked goods, yet is easy to read. I had a larger thermometer which was limited, I could stick it in my wall oven - and it always got in the way!

I didn't like it. I used it in my convection oven to make sure I got the right temperature and it nearly caught fire. It turned brown and the glass shattered. I will not recommend it to anyone I know and love. Don't buy unless you go to camp and watch the temp rise and whatnot.

Tested all three in my toaster and all read about the same temperature. What annoys me is that when I put it in the cart the price was 9.99 but after a few days the price was at 12.99 but I figured that happens sometimes. But today it's 9.99 again! What's happening?! I was so upset that my cottage cupcakes turned out better than regular cupcakes. I was afraid they would dry out as I kept adding more cooking time. These oven thermostats indicated that my oven was over 50 degrees hot so I could set the inlet temp higher than needed to get the temperature I wanted. Ultimately, I want to figure out how to calibrate my oven, but this has worked really well for me for now. (By the way, I managed to test them in a "good bun”: in the oven they were in place!

Once you put this in your oven it will be really difficult for you to read as you really have to go downstairs to read this article. If you try to hang this on a rack in the oven, the object will fall down as soon as you move that rack. They could have made a better hanger for this thermometer, like one that actually stays on the stand. Don't even try putting it on the oven rack because that won't work either. If I had to buy again I probably wouldn't buy this particular oven temp sensor…

I'm glad I bought these 3 packs. I have a thermometer in my oven, but the oven seems to be "off". I went online to buy a new one and then I saw these 3 packs. Brilliant, really. I placed them in 3 different places in the oven along with my dodgy old thermometer. All three had the same temperature gauge, plus or minus a degree or two (different areas of the oven can have different temperatures). But my old thermometer? STRONG, 65 degrees.
