The most important thing about this product: DO NOT USE TRADITIONAL ALKALINE BATTERIES! brand or not. They don't mention it anywhere, but it does require a AAA Heavy Duty R03 battery. This is carbon zinc. You can easily buy them on this website.

I like it. It's easy to use, just insert the batteries and press the button. I check the temperature of the tea (80-85C when brewing green tea) and the temperature of the food (eat only when the temperature is below 60C). I also check the temperature of the forehead and skin. Everything is accurate.

Bought for my husband. He loves information devices. He uses it for everything. Can test his grill, his pans and even the hot seats in his car! Great gadget for him. He even uses it to measure the temperature on his eye mask so he always has the same temperature. High quality

This is an excellent thermometer. It is extremely accurate and has excellent performance. The handle is very comfortable, it is very easy to squeeze to get the temperature. Or you can keep squeezing it and moving it all over the surface to get a placeholder. I enjoy learning other functions.

We liked this thermometer so much that today we will buy another one. It is well made, light weight, fast and accurate compared to other thermometers. We'll keep this one in the workshop and store it, and the next one will be in the kitchen. Don't be surprised if we buy a third one afterwards!

I received this to test my car's catalytic converter performance and it showed very high temperatures (500+ F). It also helped diagnose a problem with my refrigerator. Accuracy is very accurate depending on where you are aiming as I have also tested it on my fan heaters at home. Batteries don't eat particularly well. I recommend - way cheaper than anything at Lowes or Home Depot!

Excellent I'm not sure if that's 100% correct, but I don't think it's more than a grade if it is. I use it all the time to read room temperature or fridge temp, grill temp or whatever is important for safety when frying or chilling food in a cheap fridge not sure if it's under 40% can fall. good news maybe lol. All in all it gave me a newfound respect for radiation and how weird the thermal world can look, just buy it and scan everything around. I found it hard to stop scanning random shit lol.

I needed something to check the temperature of an adjustable soldering iron. That way I can get the temperature right instead of just cranking all the way. It works well, accurately and not very expensive. I sometimes find other uses for it. I've always wanted one for those random things and it's good for that too. Good buy, under $15.
